Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Public Consultation Concluded on 3 Oct 2008 (see Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Tribunal webpage for further information)
The four month public consultation process began on 6 June 2008, the Draft Bermuda
Plan Commencement Day and concluded on 3 October 2008. During that time the
public consulation for the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 was extensive. Details on public
consultation can be found here.

452 Objections and representations to the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 were received and
will be reviewed, discussed with the objector and the Director of Planning
recommendation will be prepared. All objections will be considered by theDraft
Bermuda Plan 2008 Tribunal.

Information about the objections and representations received, which consists of the
Register and Maps, is available from the Department of Planning and can be found here.
Information about the policy objections received can be found here. A new layer has been
added to the Mapping function of the website called "2008 Zoning Objections" to show
those areas where an application has been recieved during the consultation period.

If a planning application is submitted to the Department which relates to a zoning or
policy objection, the Board has the discretion to refuse the planning application under
policy APC.2 of the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 unless the planning application is withdrawn.
