(see Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Tribunal webpage for further information)
During a four month public consultation process starting on 6 June 2008, the Draft Bermuda
Plan Commencement Day, the Department of Planning will be organizing a number of
public exhibitions and meetings. During this time the public is invited to attend these events to
review the new Draft Plan and speak with Technical Officers from the Forward Planning Section. Each
event will be advertised in the local media and on the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Information
web page.

Until the end of the Public Consultation Period on 3 October 2008 you may lodge an objection to
either the policy of the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Planning Statement or the zoning of a property as
shown in the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Zoning Maps. To submit an objection or a comment please
read the Public Consultation Guidance Note and complete and submit a signed hardcopy of
the Public Consultation Form. After this four month public consultation period the Department
will review all objections and these will be resolved by the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Tribunal.

Furthermore if you would like to contact the Forward Planning Section about the new Draft Plan you
can send us an email.
