Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Tribunal
At the end of the four month Public Consultation period the Department of Planning will review
all official objections which were submitted during the Public Consultation Period (From 6 June to 3 October 2008.)
All objections will be the subject of a hearing and will be considered by the Draft Bermuda Plan 2008
Tribunal, which will be established by the Minister of the Environment and Sports. The Tribunal
process is guided by Section 11 of the
Development and Planning Act 1974 and the
Development and Planning (Tribunal Procedure) Rules 1992.

Notifications and agendas of all Tribunal meetings will be advertised in the Official Gazette and
the
Draft Bermuda Plan 2008 Information page of the Planning Department website at least
seven days beforehand. Once the Tribunal has determined all objections it will submit its report
to the Minister who will review the Tribunal's recommendations and confirm any changes to the
Draft Bermuda Plan 2008. The Draft Plan will then be submitted to the Legislature for approval as the
Final Plan.
